Soar Research Foundation (SRF) operates a Clinical Trials Coordination Centre (CTCC) functioning as a Contract Research Organization (CRO). This center provides infrastructure, expertise, and capacity building services for clinical trial coordination and implementation in low-resource settings. Located strategically in Mbarara City, it addresses challenges faced by local and international investigators in conducting projects within such settings. SRF-CTCC focuses on initiating new research, implementing collaborative research, and offering mentorship to young researchers in clinical trials.
SRF recognizes the necessity for a diverse skill set to strengthen the rigor of research and empower researchers with various skills. To achieve this, SRF collaborates with consultants from academic and non-academic institutions, both national and international, as well as independent researchers. This strategic approach ensures a network of experienced researchers with a proven track record of research excellence, contributing to training, research consultancy, resource mobilization, and collaborative efforts. Our commitment is to provide clients with insights into the best and current practices in research.
Given the diversity and multidisciplinary needed to build a strong rigor of research and to ensure that researchers are empowered with diversity of skills, SRF identifies and outsources consultants from academic institutions (National and international), Non-academic institutions (e.g private, non-government or public research organizations, independent researchers, etc).
At Soar Research Foundation (SRF), we are dedicated to advancing research through a comprehensive approach encompassing discovery, recovery, and capacity building for aspiring independent researchers. Additionally, we extend our support to public and private organizations, aiding in the capacity building of their staff by establishing organized data generation and analysis processes. Our training programs, characterized by a friendly and dynamic atmosphere, are administered with flexibility while delivering robust content. The primary focus of our training initiatives lies in the development of essential research skills.
